Description:

This activity was created to supplement the Functional Word Series- Signs Around You by Edmark. The students can play Tic-Tac-Toe to reinforce their recognition and comprehension of the signs/pictures that we have been working on. Using the blank Tic-Tac-Toe board, I place nine images on the board. Before the student can place a X or O on a spot, they must state what the picture represents or means. I laminated all my images so the students could mark directly on the image with a dry erase or overhead marker.
