Description:
This is an activity to do with the story, 'Mushroom in the Rain' by Mirra Ginsburg. I put velcro under the mushroom and have the students put the characters under the mushroom. I have them ask, "Can I fit under?" and respond with yes. This activity works on sequencing, story retell, the preposition, 'under,' and other story grammar elements.
