Communication story board (part 3 of 3) for Ezra Jack Keats' "The Snowy Day." Great for eliciting story retell, sequencing, answering, commenting, for combining 1 - 3 language thoughts. Examples of picture symbol combinations to be used during MODELING, story telling, and sequencing: "Peter (is) sad."; "Peter takes a bath."; "Peter sleeps"; "Peter wakes up." ; "Yay!!!! More snow!" Writing--- cut individual symbols out and have child arrange them in sentence order horizontally and close by adding correct punctuation.
