Description:
Use in/on/under to tell where the heart is in each picture. Use 6 word utterances to tell where each heart is. Show you understand the concepts by drawing your own picture on the back. After the children have drawn a picture they can take turns presenting their pictures one at a time. I had one student go in front of the room and then another student asked, "where is your heart?" The student used a complete sentence to tell where his/her heart was and then showed the class their picture.
