Description:
This activity is designed to help students practice their use of pronouns: You, I. Students with ASD may often use these pronouns incorrectly. For example, when asked "What did you do last night?" a student may say "You went to the movies." This activity involves gathering ingredients called for by a recipe and the student answering the question "Who has ___." Visual cue cards may be used to help the student respond with "I have ___" or "You have ___." This activity can be altered very easily. For example, you might use the context of dressing appropriately for the weather. These are just a few examples.
