Description:
I use this for my squirmy little groups. They LOVE it! First of all, I made a cover (Laminated construction paper taped at the top) for the faces side, so they can't see what they get (sticker or prize) Then they get to choose their animal. I use a chip (or dry erase marker on a laminated page) and move them closer to the number five as the session goes on. If they have any negative behaviors, I give them one warning and then move them backwards. When they get to the number 5 (at the end of the session), they get to open the flap and see if they get a prize or a sticker. You can also use this with JUST stickers. For variety, I started putting a mark or sticker next to the word sticker to indicate this is the child who will get a prize. Some days they ALL have stickers next to theirs so they ALL get a prize! (They really like those days) I have found this works particularly well with my younger (K-2) autism classes.
