Description:

This board would be used with students who are in a middle school or high school with class periods. You could use it at the elementary level and change the period labels to time labels. Each period the students will be asked to check in on their behavior. The teacher would circle the color of behavior that is related to the 5 point scale. The students in my class are earning money to buy a movie “ticket" for Friday and other Friday fun activities. If they are able to stay on green for the period they would receive 2 pennies, yellow they would receive 1 penny. If they get to orange this means it is time to check our behavior take some time in the calm zone and make a plan so we do not lose control. If control is lost and red is met then they would get no pennies, and would lose some type of classroom privilege. I hope you find this helpful.
